Been crazy busy....

I haven't posted in a while. I have been super crazy busy with work and school. I do now have a gimp foot. In fact I need to contact the dr again, since it isn't get much better. As work we are frantically getting ready for our Holiday Open house on November 8 and 9th. We just got news that they are finally going to be doing the long awaited new back wall to our store. We will be loosing about 20 feet off the back. Our company has decided that it would be a great idea to start this project starting at 5pm on November 9th. Yes you read that right! The Sunday of our Holiday Open House. Should be an interesting adventure since I have to move the entire store around! Please pray for me that afternoon and evening. Not much else really going on. Just keeping busy is all....

Got the official word!

I am on the perfect path to graduate May 20, 2009. The counselor was very impressed that I am so dang close. I did learn today to never throw away any type of school paperwork. I took my assestments back in 2001. I went in to see the counselor today to make sure I had all the graduation requirements. She went to pull up my assestment results to check on my reading competency. Well guess what! Since my assestment was so long ago, my results have been purged from the system. Which I think is ridiculous! So she tells me that my only real option would be to take the reading assesment again. So I then remembered that I was 99% sure I still had my copy of the results.... She told me if I do, then they would just need a copy of it.... I got home tonight, went straight for the file cabinet and went digging. Tada! I found them. I won't have to take the stupid test again. YAY! She also couldn't find the proof that I had been approved to have one of my classes waived. Luckily I have my copy of that as well. Good thing I am more organized than the actual counselor. She even admitted to me that "it was early in the day", so she hadn't really looked at my stuff. My appointment was at 9. Holy toledo! I feel bad for anyone whole had an appointment before mine! Also you would think she would take time the day before to look at her stuff for the next day. I did schedule my appointment like 2 or 3 weeks ago.

That's a whole lotta ladies!

So I went to a girls night in evening in the bay area on Saturday evening. It was a gathering that originally was thought of to watch movies, and have a good time with the girls. Well it ended up that ALOT more ladies were able to make it. We ended up with a total of 41 girls at one time! It was alot of fun, and I am gla that I made the trek down there after working all day.

Here we all are.... People were standing on all the furniture.....

Ok, so I was the cause of this hysterical laughter. I was sitting on the floor kind of on my side. Well I had my phone in my pocket, which was touching the chair. Well my phone started "ringing", but actually vibrating because I had it on silent/vibrate. Next thing we know the girl who was sitting on the arm of the chair I was leaning on says "someone's vibrating my foot!". Everyone burst out in laughter. Yup, that was me!

So I have been told by many people that I need a blog. So I am now taking the jump and starting one. We will see how this goes. Hopefully I will be able to keep it up, and not let it get in the way of my school work...... hmmmm
